prelude to catharsis.

the only thing i took pictures of last week was some students cooking for our campus kitchen initiative, the objective of which is to provide nutritious snacks to an identified on-campus student population that experiences recurrent food instability:

in spite of what sounded like a disproportionate amount of cinnamon mistakenly incorporated, they seemed to be having a lot of fun and i've heard rave reviews about their past projects.  hope it sticks around.

i did something really incredible this week.  it is one of the few things i've done in many years that elicits pride; i feel brave and strong and capable of more than i've been.  people might fuck up to an astounding, irreversible degree, but if i can change the course of things to come through forgiveness, i will.  humanity is going to california this week.  the next entry will be riddled with led zeppelin captions.
