camping!

we haven't had an internet connection for the past two days.  this was the first thing i did when it came back on.  i don't think it's that i have anything particularly interesting to say or display, i just want to be able to do it whenever i feel like it.

our campus community garden club had a plant sale last week and while i was helping to transport supplies, i came upon these in one of the classrooms:

cat brains?

yes, that's right.  cat brains, most likely.  they're currently dissecting cats and rather than photograph a feline corpse splayed open, i chose brains.  i don't have the stomach for science.  or zombism.

you can see the scotch tape.  letter insides don't float.

over the weekend i went camping for the first time in the pacific northwest and though i was initially hesitant at the thought of dropping temperatures overnight, it went rather splendidly:

it was ferry good weather for camping.

beemer or beamer.  that's beaming if i ever saw it.

i wish clam and oyster season was still on.  shucks.  hahaha.

i think this is the biggest dead crab i've ever seen not intended for human consumption.

what drunk game did we play before apples to apples?

it wouldn't count as camping unless some idiot took a picture of the fire.

hungover?  chess and red beer will solve that, apparently.

that's all. we need to start paying for our own internet.
