smack dab in the middle of a very hectic month, i agreed to house sit for a lady. she's a bit more advanced in years than i, and it's been...interesting. there are spices in the house from the 90s! and oddly enough, no soap at the kitchen sink or two of three bathrooms. as a compulsive hand washer, it was kiiinda crazy. here are some of my favorite visual excerpts:

there's a very pretty archway outside, my favorite part is the little blue plane. |

mmbandaid. nom nom barf. |

as an accomplished quilter, her world is vibrant with color. |

meet mojo. he's an adorably sweet elder dog who can bark like a peppy pup! |

this is precious. she is probably one of the best models i've ever had because, well... |

she's a natural, aged. |

i went to see jeff mangum (of neutral milk hotel) last night. simplicity and talent are hallmarks. i remember an ex-boyfriend's friend saying he once saw jeff live and that he's an arrogant motherfucker. well my my, let him be arrogant if that is in fact the case; as long as he continues to consistently excel. i'd rather see an extraordinary musician with a streak of arrogance than one whose notoriety is based upon not much more than being endearing.
